Freelance Personal trainer and Class Instructor

We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal trainer/Fitness Class Instructor to join our highly successful studio in Whitefield, Greater Manchester.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who can deliver an excellent level of service to our members.

We are looking for someone who is flexible and available on:
  • Mornings from 9am
  • Evenings from 5.45pm to 8.45pm
  • Weekends
Reports to: Studio directors, Kealey Dermody and Leanne Rostron

About Fitcamp Women

Fitcamp Women deliver women only  personal training and fitness classes in the heart of Whitefield. 


At Fitcamp Women, we pride ourselves on being a fun, friendly and motivational community. Promoting women’s health and wellbeing for both physical and emotional intelligence for a complete transformation inside and out.

Key activities and responsibilities

  • To deliver high quality indoor and outdoor fitness classes at our women only fitness and wellbeing studio in Whitefield
  • To lead on indoor and outdoor personal training sessions
  • Supervise general use and ensure correct use of the equipment at all times during the studio sessions 
  • Record and monitor daily safety checks including Covid-19 procedures
  • Ensure potential hazards are dealt with and reported to the studio director 
  • Keeping the studio clean and tidy making sure all loose equipment stored safely after use 
  • Act at all times in accordance with Fitcamp Women policies and procedures 
  • Assisting with the building evacuation in case of emergency 

Person Specification

  • Fitness instructor Level 2 Exercise to Music or Level 2 Gym instructor qualified
  • Level 3 PT trained
  • Experience in delivering high quality and safe fitness classes in similar environments
  • Knowledge and understanding what it means to deliver amazing classes and hospitality, which always exceeds our member’s expectations
  • Flexible and receptive to teach the Fitcamp way  - in house training on studio classes will be provided
  • A warm, personable nature and a can do attitude 
  • Passion for engaging women in fitness
  • Ability to work as part of a team, be highly motivated in and out of sessions
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Self-motivated and enjoy working as part of a team
  • An excellent organiser and coordinator with a strong attention to detail
  • A high level of personal presentation and communication skills
  • Confidence to engage directly with people and encourage and motivate them
  • A believer in creating strong, supportive space for women
